I’ve learned my lesson the hard way and fortunately for me, I don’t fall for fad diets anymore. Nothing really works but the good old “healthy diet and regular exercise” route. So what exactly is a healthy balanced diet? It simply means you eat the right types of foods and drinks to supply nutrition to your body and for the maintenance of body cells, tissues and organs. A healthy diet will also be the foundation for growth and development. What you need is a wide variety of foods and drinks from all food groups in the right amounts of course. Always remember one thing: Anything in excess is not good for you. Yup, even broccoli when taken in excessive amounts can cause high uric acid.
