Quinoa a.k.a. “Mother Grain” is packed with protein and fiber. Did you know that a cup of cooked quinoa has about 22.27 g of protein? It also provides balanced energy and it keeps you feeling full longer. If you have recently switched to the quinoa diet, you are probably wondering if your baby can enjoy the same healthy benefits that you are getting from it. So the big question is— when can your baby start eating quinoa? Most experts would suggest 8 months but many babies can tolerate it prior to 8 months. I’d stick to 8 months though just to be safe.
Quinoa will be a great addition to your baby’s diet because it contains vitamins and minerals that your baby crucially needs in its growing years. What I particularly love about quinoa is its versatility. You can mix it with fruits, vegetables and meat.
